If you've ever stepped inside the Launceston Art Centre or even just heard about us, you would know Stefan.
Although growing up around the arts scene, Stefan started his own artistic career a bit later in life (22, to be exact). He is entirely self-taught, and that's why, when you look at Stefan's art, you can really see a part of him in every piece.
He debuted his first art show, "Haven't We Suffered Enough", in 2023.
You will continue to see Stefan's art pop up around Launceston, maybe even next door at the Launceston Art Centre Gallery! Stef has an amazing talent for drawing, mixed media canvas painting and spray painting.
When he's not running the show or whipping up custom frames (doing it all, basically), you'll find him running around the streets of Launceston. Did you know Stefan runs a half marathon every Monday morning just for fun?! But if you haven't seen him out and about running, that's because he is awake at a ridiculous hour of the morning so he can spend quality time with his family, including his son, Fox.
When he is in the shop, you'll find a speaker glued to him, constantly playing an eclectic range of tunes, either in the workshop creating some stunning custom frames or stretching canvas', or just wrangling everything to ensure business operations are running smoothly.
If you know Stef, you understand he has huge aspirations – whether for his family, his running, or the Launceston Art Centre – he's always striving for bigger, better, more.
If you want to chat with Stef about Launceston Art Centre's extensive product range, custom framing, canvas stretching, running, or Pokémon, get in touch with him here!
